Austria 13 March 2017 Software Engineer C# and C++ (f/m)

Key responsibilities include: Participation in the development of a distributed software system in the area of Speech Recognition. Exposing .NET APIs to allow integration into partner applications. Participation in all phases of the software development cycle (analysis, design and implementation). Collaboration with other departments (linguistics, support and test).

Your tasks:

  • Participation in all phases of the software development cycle (analysis, design and implementation)
  • Collaboration with other departments (linguistics, support and test).

Your qualifications:

  • Technical degree (University, FH or HTL)
  • At least 3 years of work experience in software development
  • Excellent knowledge of C#/.NET and C++
  • Good knowledge of database systems (DBMS)
  • Experience with object-oriented design and implementation
  • Experience with Microsoft Win32 API
  • Ideally knowledge of Microsoft Speech API
  • Ideally knowledge of Java, Visual Basic, Perl
  • Ideally knowledge of Agile Development approach (Scrum, XP)
  • Self-disciplined and proactive way of working, working in teams
  • High level of technical comprehension and analytically competent, knowledge of software design and design patterns
  • Customer focused with good communication skills
  • Good English language skills
  • Ideally linguistic skills. 

Must be eligible/legally entitled to work in Austria.
